Prior to joining the 1 East Guitar quartet in 2005, Zoë performed throughout the northeast United States and Canada as a solo guitarist and chamber musician.  She is the winner of several awards, including prize at the first National Guitar Summer Workshop Collegiate competition and a prize from the Staten Island Arts Council.   She holds degrees from the Eastman School of Music, University of Rochester, and the Peabody Conservatory of the Johns Hopkins University.  Currently, she is a member of the guitar faculty at the Peabody Preparatory of the Johns Hopkins University, and also maintains a busy private studio in Baltimore City.
